Camrose Veterinary Hospital provides veterinary herd health management support for equine, bovine, and small ruminant herds. Our veterinary staff has experience in reproductive and herd health evaluations. We will partner with you to determine your goals and design a herd treatment plan to promote health and safety. Our diagnostic equipment is portable, affording us the flexibility to evaluate your stock at your farm or in our office. Veterinary appointments can be scheduled on a monthly basis or as needed.

Factors to consider in your herd management plan may include:

• Preventing exposure to disease—Obtain a medical evaluation for newly purchased animals.
• Maintaining high disease resistance—Reduce stress with proper nutrition, vaccination, and housing programs.
• Observing livestock for early signs of illness.
• Preventing the spread of illness—If illness occurs, segregate, diagnose, and treat accordingly.
